The U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) confirmed today, Thursday, that it is not aware of any imminent decisions regarding the allocation of long-range ATACMS missiles to Ukraine, following a Wall Street Journal report indicating that Washington is on the verge of supplying these missiles to Ukraine. The department noted that the missiles could assist Ukraine in launching strikes against Russian forces beyond the front lines. Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Patrick Ryder stated, "I have nothing to announce regarding ATACMS, and certainly am not aware of any imminent decisions concerning ATACMS."
