Lebanese Tennis Federation Confirms Boycott of Matches with Israel

The Lebanese Tennis Federation affirmed in its statement that it has no association with the Lebanese players who participated in the matches circulating on social media and in the media. It called on the families of the players to ensure that their children do not compete in matches against Israeli players. This statement came after several media outlets and social media pages shared news and images of Lebanese junior players participating individually in friendly matches with Israeli players abroad. The federation reiterated its stance and total rejection of Lebanese players competing with Israeli players. It stated, "This matter is strictly adhered to by all Lebanese national teams across all age categories participating in external championships and competitions." The Lebanese Tennis Federation also indicated that it will take measures regarding this issue and against anyone who violates this decision.
