The United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Lebanon, Imran Riza, stated, "We will work with the UN Refugee Agency and the World Food Programme to develop a constructive framework to advance the issue of assistance for Syrian refugees, according to the aspirations of Prime Minister Najib Mikati and the Lebanese state." Riza met today, Friday, with caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Minister of Social Affairs Hector Hajjar, and they discussed what is being circulated in the media regarding aid for Syrian refugees.
