Oman Launches an Investment Fund with a Capital of Two Billion Omani Rials

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman announced on Wednesday the launch of an investment fund with a capital of two billion Omani rials (5.2 billion dollars), as reported by the Oman News Agency. The decree states that the "Oman Future Fund" will allocate a percentage of its capital "to incentivize the venture investment ecosystem in small and medium-sized enterprises and startups registered with the Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development."
