The governor of Crimea, appointed by Moscow, Sergey Aksyonov, announced today via Telegram that a missile fired from Ukraine was shot down in the town of Feodosia, located on the Black Sea in the area controlled by Russia. The Russian news agency TASS quoted Oleg Kryuchkov, one of Aksyonov's advisors, as saying that "the debris fell in a town in Crimea but there were no reports of damage or casualties." Russia annexed Crimea from Ukraine in 2014, and Kyiv demands its return.
