Ayman Zidan: Step Down, O Death, From the Backs of Our Loved Ones

The Syrian actor Ayman Zidan recalled his late brother Shadi Zidan and his friend, the artist Mohamed Qnoo, who passed away a few days ago, with painful words he published on his Facebook page. Zidan wrote: "How exhausted I am, my friend… Drop your burdens of sorrow; life must go on. I know that nothing stops the flow of life, but what about the pebbles of sadness that obstruct its course? Nothing will change... eventually, it will all flow into the sea… then the foam of the sea will become an endless waterfall of sadness… What can you do?" He added: "I will stand on the lighthouse of lost ships and shout at the top of my lungs… Step down, O death, a little from the backs of our loved ones."
