The giant container shipping group "Maersk" announced today, Tuesday, that it has "stopped accepting new bookings for goods to Sudan due to the ongoing clashes in the country." The Danish company noted in a statement that it is "monitoring the situation and looking for solutions to stabilize its supply chain services there." The group commented on the situation in Sudan, saying: "The current conditions have necessitated our decision to halt new bookings until the situation improves."
