The Lebanese futsal national team will participate in the Asian Championship scheduled to take place in Kuwait from September 27 to October 8. The delegation is led by Georges Soulage, a member of the Executive Committee of the Lebanese Football Federation, and includes Hussein Deb (team manager), Juan Almeida (coach), Maroun Khoury (assistant coach), Omar Hijazi (goalkeeper coach), Hadi Haidar (physiotherapist), and Samar Raslan (equipment manager), along with players Hussein Hamdani, Karim Jawidi, Ali Dahir, Hussein Hamieh, Steve Cockazian, Issa Mehrez, Hasan Zeitoun, Qassem Qoussan, Mustafa Rahim, Hasan Alama, Mohammed Qubeisi, Mohammed Hamoud, Ali Hashem, and Fadi Ghrige. Lebanon will kick off its campaign in the tournament by facing Chinese Taipei at 8 PM next Wednesday, within Group C, which also includes Iran and Indonesia.
