Houthi Official: Yemen Welcomes 13 Prisoners After Saudi Release Ahead of Broader Exchange

A Houthi official in Yemen, Abdul Qader Al-Murtada, confirmed on Saturday that "the group received 13 prisoners released by Saudi Arabia in exchange for a Saudi prisoner released earlier, ahead of a broader prisoner exchange agreed upon by the warring parties." He stated in a tweet on his official account: "Today we welcomed at Sana'a International Airport, 13 prisoners released by the Saudi authorities in exchange for a Saudi prisoner we released earlier." He expressed hope that "this step would lead to the implementation of the agreement finalized by the end of this week."
