Nigerian police reported on Monday that at least eight people were killed due to the explosion of a fuel truck in southwestern Nigeria while residents attempted to siphon gasoline from it. The police stated, "The truck had an accident on Sunday in a neighborhood of Ondo State, causing it to tip over after veering off the road."
