Wu Zunyou, the chief epidemiologist at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, believes the pandemic is nearing its conclusion based on data from the World Health Organization. According to state media, this cancellation is part of broader measures implemented by China, which announced last week that wearing masks is no longer mandatory on public transportation.
