Three students were killed and two others injured in a collision involving a truck and their SUV, a GMC model, on the eastern lane of the highway after the Hamat tunnel heading towards Shka. The accident occurred in the early hours of the morning. It was reported that two of the victims were from the Hasbaya area, and the bodies along with the injured students were transferred to nearby hospitals. The truck driver fled the scene in his truck, which bore a Syrian license plate found at the accident site. Security forces have commenced investigations to uncover the details.
