Russian news agency TASS reported today, Thursday, that the Central Election Commission has set September 10 as the date for local elections in four Ukrainian regions that Moscow has unilaterally declared annexed, coinciding with voting taking place in other Russian regions. The agency quoted the head of the election commission, Ella Pamfilova, stating that "the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Federal Security Service have decided to hold the vote in September."
