The watch is said to be expensive, and he took it off under the table while talking about the controversial pension law that has sparked widespread protests across the country. Commentators on social media noted that Macron removed the watch 11 minutes into the interview when he placed his left arm under the table while continuing to answer questions. When his hand came back from under the table, the watch was gone.
