Civil defense personnel, supported by the Beirut Fire Brigade, managed to extinguish a fire that broke out at 8:30 AM due to an explosion of a generator in the Zuqaq al-Blat area of Beirut. The area was engulfed in thick smoke, and flames were seen rising.
The fire extended to encompass two diesel tanks, six cars, three residential apartments, and a store, with damage limited to material losses.
