America Imposes Sanctions on Members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard

The U.S. Treasury Department today, Thursday, imposed sanctions on members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and a company affiliated with the Quds Force, accusing them of participating in plots to carry out terrorist attacks targeting former U.S. government officials, dual U.S.-Iranian nationals, and Iranian dissidents. The department indicated that this action targets "three individuals residing in Iran and Turkey and a company affiliated with the Quds Force, along with two senior officials in the Revolutionary Guard Intelligence for their involvement in planning the assassination of civilians."
