A Kuwaiti citizen discovered a phone set to record, carefully hidden in the women's bathroom of a bank in the Al-Farwaniyah Governorate, Kuwait. The citizen documented a video that has widely circulated on social media, showing the phone in recording mode.
In response, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced that "the perpetrators have been apprehended," adding that "two individuals were arrested, one Arab and the other Asian, who had placed a mobile phone in a restroom designated for women in a bank." The ministry also confirmed that they have been referred to the relevant authorities for legal action against them.
