A Qatari fund is targeting the purchase of one of the English clubs: Manchester United, Liverpool, or Tottenham. Bloomberg reported, citing a source familiar with the matter, that Nasser Al-Khelaifi, President of Qatar Sports Investments and head of Paris Saint-Germain, recently held discussions with Daniel Levy, Chairman of Tottenham, regarding acquiring a stake in the London club. The fund is also considering investing in Manchester United or Liverpool, either through a full acquisition or by purchasing stakes in them. However, Tottenham clarified to Reuters in an email response that "there is no truth to reports regarding a meeting related to the sale of shares in the club."
