The Governor of West Darfur, General Khamees Abdallah Abkar, issued a decision today to declare a state of emergency throughout the state, effective from next Monday. This decision follows a meeting of the state's security committee in light of the security tensions in the Forbrenka area of Sudan. The curfew will be in effect from 7 PM to 7 AM for a duration of two weeks.
