Today, Tuesday, the Algerian company Sonatrach signed a contract with the Chinese company Wanhua Chemical to supply the Wanhua Petrochemical complex with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Sonatrach stated in a statement that the contract involves regular supply of Algerian LPG to the Asian market, "representing a significant shift for Algerian LNG exports." The company added that the contract "also allows for the inclusion of a pricing reference for Algerian LPG in the largest regional market in the world."
