Symptoms of the New Coronavirus Variant "Arcturus"

Symptoms of the New Coronavirus Variant

The new coronavirus variant "Arcturus" has caused a wave of concern due to the increase in recorded infections. It is classified as a subvariant of "Omicron." It has been monitored by the World Health Organization since March 22 and is one of over 600 variants produced from "Omicron" so far, found in 22 countries, including the United Kingdom and the United States. Symptoms of the virus include a rise in body temperature, cough, and conjunctivitis or "pink eye." Experts in the Russian authorities have classified the new coronavirus variant "Arcturus" as highly infectious compared to all previous mutations of the coronavirus; however, this does not mean it poses a significant danger, as the course of the resulting illness is very mild, and there is no need for precautionary pandemic measures despite its rapid spread.
