Tunisia: Recovery of 4 Women and 5 Children from

The head of the Tunisian Observatory for Human Rights, Mustafa Abdel Kabir, announced that Tunisia has received 4 women and 5 children from "ISIS" families who were in Libyan prisons, while other Tunisian women remain in detention in Libya. He stated that "the handover took place at the Ras Jedir border crossing, under the supervision of security authorities from Tunisia and Libya," adding that "the women will undergo security investigation for the Tunisian judiciary to decide on their cases." Abdel Kabir pointed out that "efforts are underway to secure the return of between 10 to 15 Tunisian citizens who are held in Libyan prisons." He noted that "these individuals are serving sentences ranging from 6 to 16 years in prison, including women with children."
