Miqdad: We Will Respond to Israel at a Time that Serves Us

Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Miqdad confirmed that "Syria will respond to Israel at a time that serves Damascus." In an interview with "Algeria International" channel, he stated that "Israel is known for committing many crimes, and one cannot discuss the challenges facing the Syrian people and the assaults in isolation from what is happening now on the Palestinian front," pointing out that "our support for the Palestinian people is a response to the Israeli attacks." He added, "Israel knows and is aware that the Syrian response to such assaults, publicly, is inevitable; we will respond to Israel at a time that serves us." Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received the Syrian Foreign Minister yesterday, carrying a message from Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
