Saudi Arabia and the United States Condemn the Resumption of Violence in Sudan

The United States and Saudi Arabia strongly condemned in a joint statement today, Sunday, the resumption of violence in Sudan after a 24-hour ceasefire. The statement indicated that both the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces were able to control their troops during the ceasefire period, but the two countries expressed deep regret over the parties returning to acts of violence immediately after the ceasefire ended.
