Death of Oscar Winner Alan Arkin

Alan Arkin, the screen and stage actor who won an Oscar for his role in the 2006 film "Little Miss Sunshine," passed away today, Friday, at the age of 89. His death was confirmed to "People Magazine" by his children, who made a joint statement on behalf of the family: "Our father was a uniquely gifted natural force, as an artist and a man.
