After the Black Corner Incident: The Army Calls for Restraint

The Directorate of Guidance in the Lebanese Army Command, commenting on the Black Corner incident, which resulted in the death of two young men from the Touq family in Bcharre yesterday, called for "responsibility, self-restraint, and a commitment to civil peace, and urged against getting swept away by rumors or preempting the investigation." The command confirmed that military units continue to deploy and implement security measures in the area, and that the army is conducting an investigation into the matter under the supervision of the relevant judicial authorities, in line with its national duty.
