British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stated, "Harnessing the potential of artificial intelligence provides immense opportunities for growing our economy, creating better-paying jobs, and building a better future through advancements in healthcare and security." He added, "By investing in emerging technologies through the expertise of the new taskforce, we can continue to lead the way in developing safe and trustworthy artificial intelligence as we shape a more innovative British economy."
