The new Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin pledged on Wednesday to achieve unity in the country and implement policies aimed at resolving crises and moving the nation forward. In a nationwide address, Srettha promised to enhance inclusivity and govern in the best interests of all Thais, vowing for a new era of change. "I feel very honored that today the Parliament has voted to approve me as Prime Minister. I would like to thank the people, the members of the House of Representatives, and the Senate for their trust in me. I feel very honored to serve all Thai citizens," he stated.
