Dollar Stabilizes Amid Cautious Market Calm

The dollar edged up slightly against most major currencies on Wednesday, stabilizing after declines over the past few sessions, and surged against the yen, which experienced volatility as the end of the Japanese fiscal year approaches.

The dollar index rose by 0.15% to 102.64. It had declined in the previous two sessions and is expected to record a monthly loss of 2.1%, falling victim to market disruptions caused by banking sector issues.

The euro fell by 0.1% to $1.0834, while the pound saw a slight decline to $1.2316, dipping slightly below its highest level in nearly two months recorded in the previous session at $1.2348.

The dollar touched a one-week high, rising 0.8% in the latest trades to 131.99 yen, while the euro increased by 0.6% against the Japanese currency to 142.9 yen.
