American actor Kevin Spacey, a two-time Oscar winner, appeared in a London court today, Wednesday, as the trial began, expected to last four weeks, regarding 12 charges related to sexual offenses. The trial has been postponed until Friday morning, when the prosecution will officially open its case against Spacey. Among the charges Spacey faces, one could carry a life sentence. The 63-year-old Spacey, who was once one of Hollywood's biggest stars, has largely remained out of the public eye since being accused of sexual misconduct six years ago.
