In a statement issued by the center's press service, it was mentioned: "On Friday, May 5, 2023, residents of certain areas of the Earth will experience a partial lunar eclipse." The statement indicated that "the eclipse will last for 4 hours and 17 minutes. Inhabitants of Antarctica, most of Asia, Southeast Europe, Australia, Africa, and areas of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans will be able to observe the lunar eclipse phenomenon."
