General Situation Discussed with Iranian Ambassador

The Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mojtaba Amani, at the second presidential headquarters in Ain el-Tineh, where they discussed the general situation and the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as the bilateral relations between the two countries. Berri also reviewed political updates and legislative matters during his meeting with Deputy Speaker Elias Bou Saab, who left without making a statement. In the afternoon, Berri met with Mr. Tawfiq Sultan.
