The Directorate of Intelligence in the Lebanese Army carried out a significant operation in Miniyeh, during which several vans transporting passengers preparing to leave Lebanon illegally by sea were stopped, according to media sources. The Information Branch managed to apprehend two small trucks that were carrying 100 people in Miniyeh who aimed to flee by sea. An operation to smuggle several individuals in the Khanouch Hamat area was also thwarted, with reports indicating that "the number of those detained there reached 45 individuals, all of whom are of Syrian nationality."
