Lebanese Taekwondo Union Towards Global Representation

Lebanese Taekwondo Union Towards Global Representation

The Lebanese Taekwondo Union signed a cooperation agreement with the World Taekwondo Organization "Kukkiwon" (South Korea), which lasts for one year and is renewable. The signing took place at the headquarters of the Lebanese Union between the President of the Union, Habib Zreiifeh, and "Grand Master" Sun Oh Park, representing Kukkiwon. This significant step allows for the opening of a regional office in Lebanon, which will cover the Arab region and the Middle East. It is worth noting that Kukkiwon is the largest authority on taekwondo in the world and will have a permanent representation at the regional office in Beirut, Lebanon. Previously, the Lebanese Union had signed a cooperation protocol with the South Korean embassy in Lebanon. It is noted that participation in any activity approved or organized by the International Federation requires obtaining a black belt certificate, at least Kukkiwon Dan for coaches and players, and 4 Dan for referees.
