Erdogan to Meet with Greek Prime Minister Next Month

The Turkish presidency announced today, Monday, that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on his election victory. In a phone call, Erdogan, who won a third term as president of Turkey last month, stated that the two re-elected governments provide an opportunity for bilateral relations between the neighboring countries. The office of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis noted that he will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the NATO summit scheduled to be held next month in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius. Mitsotakis was sworn in as Prime Minister for a second term today after his election win.
