Jumblatt: The Arab League is Like the Titanic

The leader of the "Progressive Socialist Party," Walid Jumblatt, compared the Arab League to the Titanic, which is taking the Syrian people towards certain drowning. Jumblatt tweeted from his official account, saying, "Did they ask the Syrian people if they wish to return to the Arab embrace? Of course not." He added, "The Arab League is like the Titanic, carrying this people towards inevitable sinking. The regime has been granted legitimacy to act, and those who survived torture, prisons, or displacement, the gentle embrace is capable of erasing them. When, I ask you, did you consult the people?"
