Kuwait Petroleum: Chinese Demand for Oil Continues to Rise

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation CEO Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Sabah stated today, Thursday, that "Chinese demand for oil is expected to continue rising in the second half of the year." In a conversation with "Reuters," he said, "We see this from our customers in China, the largest customers for Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, who continue to request similar quantities of crude oil, if not more, which bodes well for sustained demand." He added, "We have customers, our largest customers in China for decades, and they will continue to be so because we have long-term relationships with them."
