Russia Bans Entry of Officials from Moldova

The Russian media agency reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Friday that Moscow has banned the entry of officials from Moldova into the country, without specifying their names. Relations between Russia and Moldova, which has a pro-European government, have sharply deteriorated since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Moldova shares borders with Ukraine and Romania, a NATO member state.
