After a citizen in Zgharta, northern Lebanon, reported to the local police that an unknown individual had given him counterfeit money amounting to $1,100 in exchange for some livestock, investigations by the North Investigation Unit revealed that the perpetrator was a 2005-born Syrian named B.N. On the same date, in the Talla Al-Dahab area in Zgharta, one of the unit's patrols successfully apprehended him in a well-planned ambush. During the interrogation, he confessed to the charges against him and admitted to using hashish. He purchased several livestock and paid for them with the counterfeit currency.
