The value of Jordan's imports of crude oil and its derivatives declined by 0.4% in the first quarter of the current year to 758.2 million dinars, approximately 1.06 billion dollars, compared to the same period in 2022, according to data from the Jordanian Department of Statistics on Sunday. The oil and derivatives bill for the kingdom at the end of the first quarter of 2022 was approximately 761.3 million dinars. Jordan imports over 95% of its energy needs.
