A woman in Germany has recovered her wallet more than 40 years after losing it, including her old passport and several photographs – but with no cash. The senior pastor of the church in Bad Dürkheim, Rheinland-Palatinate, Stefan Kunz, announced that the wallet was finally found during renovation work in the church attic. The owner of the wallet, who now lives in Bonn, was located thanks to the documents it contained. The woman had forgotten the wallet in a phone booth in 1981 when she was 16 years old. Kunz stated that someone must have taken the wallet and hidden it in the church, which was under renovation at the time.
