Title: Secretary General of the Football Union: Club Managements Must Regulate Fans

The Secretary General of the Lebanese Football Union, Jihad Al-Shahaf, responded to numerous accusations directed at the federation, the latest from Al-Ansar Club, following the unfortunate events that occurred during the recent phase of the Lebanese Championship between Al-Ahed and Al-Ansar at the Jounieh stadium.

He emphasized that most clubs want to win and cannot accept defeat, noting that in football there is always a winner and a loser, adding, "No one wants a culture of accepting loss." Regarding the incidents that took place, he confirmed that the federation will not permit such actions and that club managements must take responsibility and regulate their fans.

He pointed out that the Football Union has always maintained an equal distance from everyone and holds great respect for Al-Ansar Club. It is worth mentioning that a trilateral meeting took place between Al-Ansar Club President Nabil Badr, Al-Ahed Club President Tammam Suleiman, and Fadi Nasser, President of Al-Burj Club, and the meeting was very positive.
