Wagner Chief Criticizes Kremlin's Media Silence

The founder of the Russian private military group Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, stated on Sunday that he is convinced that senior officials in the Kremlin have banned news about him from being published in official media. He warned that this misleading approach would lead to a violent reaction from the Russian people within months. He added, "Wagner is not a slippery soap that bureaucrats throw around; Wagner is a drill, a dagger that you cannot hide, and I am completely convinced that they have banned coverage." He continued, "The senior bureaucrats, those towers of the Kremlin, who are trying to silence everyone so that they do not talk about Wagner, their attempts will only push the people further."
