The Secretary of the Gas Distributors Union, Jan Hatem, confirmed that there is no gas crisis on the horizon regarding imports, noting that the price schedule should be released in the morning to prevent any exploitation of citizens. He stated in an interview with "Voice of Lebanon": "We are in constant communication with everyone regarding imports and allocations, and we hope to reach solutions soon to resolve the issue." He concluded: "There is no gas crisis or strike on the doorstep of winter."
