Kuwaiti artist Abdul Karim Abdul Qadir passed away today, Friday, after a battle with illness at the age of nearly 80. Abdul Qadir suffered from chronic diseases, and his condition worsened in recent days, leading to his admission to Jaber Hospital until his death, according to Kuwaiti media. The Kuwaiti artist's journey spanned 60 years, during which he presented many musical works. Abdul Karim Abdul Qadir is considered one of the most important artists of Kuwait and the Gulf in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.
