Title: India Hosts Meetings in Kashmir, Pakistan Condemns Decision

Pakistan condemned India on Tuesday for its decision to hold Group of Twenty meetings next month in the disputed region of Kashmir, stating, "India's irresponsible decision is the latest in a series of actions that serve its self-interests to entrench its illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir." The ministry accused India of "ignoring United Nations Security Council resolutions and violating the principles of the United Nations Charter and international law." India currently holds the rotating presidency of the Group of Twenty for a year and is scheduled to host the leaders' summit in New Delhi in early September. India has issued a complete schedule of events leading up to the summit, which includes meetings for the G20 and the Y20 in Srinagar, the summer capital of Kashmir, and in the town of Leh in the nearby Ladakh region, in April and May.
