Kuwaiti National Assembly Recommends Banning Sale of Goods from Countries Permitting Quranic Violations

The Kuwaiti National Assembly issued recommendations today, Tuesday, to the Ministry of Commerce to ban the sale of goods produced by countries that allow violations of the Quran. The Assembly also directed the Ministry to prohibit exports to countries that permit infringements on the fundamentals of the Islamic faith and protect the offenders. The statement noted that the Ministry of Information should also take action against websites and applications that "publish insults against Islam."
