Recently, there have been drastic changes in the British royal family following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8. Charles became the actual king of the country after her passing, and the couple, Kate Middleton and Prince William, became the Prince and Princess of Wales. Not only that, but King Charles's popularity has risen since he ascended the throne, yet his son Prince William and his wife Kate remain the nation's most favored members of the family, according to a survey.
The Mail on Sunday revealed that the Prince and Princess of Wales topped a survey that asked 1,095 British adults to assess their opinions on prominent members of the royal family. The results showed that 69 percent viewed Prince William favorably, while his wife Kate ranked second with 67 percent. The Princess Royal Anne came in third with 64 percent of the total votes. King Charles's approval ratings increased by 11 points compared to the last survey conducted in March, placing him fourth with 54 percent. Prince Harry ranked fifth, but his popularity has grown compared to the last survey, despite the public criticisms he and his wife directed at other royal family members in high-profile interviews from their new home in America.
