Lebanese Kataeb Party leader, MP Sami Jumblatt, confirmed that they "did not provide a final answer to French envoy Jean-Yves Le Drian while waiting for consultations among opposition parties, which will take place between today and tomorrow, and we will have a united response, God willing." Jumblatt stated in an interview with "Al Arabiya - Al Hadath": "If Hezbollah intends to meet the other team halfway, it should withdraw its candidate and engage in dialogue with us, and we have no problem with that."
