A 5.9 magnitude earthquake hit today, Thursday, off the Pacific coast of Panama. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported that the earthquake occurred 493 kilometers southwest of Panama City, at a depth of 10 kilometers. No tsunami warning was issued following the earthquake.
